Notes and Discussions:
  • Lee (3/5/2014): WTF? I can't believe I actually played through this game. The premise of the game is that you order items from a series of unlockable catalogs, then you burn those items in your fireplace. I actually almost enjoyed discovering the item combinations to satisfy the list of challenges, and setting fire to the various items was moderately amusing, but gaining money for deliberately burning the spiders that crawled around in the fireplace was a little sick. Seriously, WTF?

For 4.5 hours, I kept playing with the hope that the game would get better. It didn't. The entire game takes place either staring into your fireplace (with little breaks of flipping through the catalogs of items; referencing the item combination challenge list; or reading the mail from the deranged, highly unstable, and seriously creepy little girl next door)...until the ending, which involves one of the strangest and most pointless WTF moments in my gaming experience thus far.

To wrap this up, I leave you with a seemingly appropriate video: http://www.rollingstone.com/movies/blogs/the-travers-take/travers-rango-is-the-most-wtf-movie-of-all-time-20110303.
